«Ciudades del espacio» is the popular science essay by Gerard K. O'Neill, published in 1981 by Bruguera in paperback (410 pages, in Spanish).
Gerard K. O'Neill analyses how artificial colonies in space capable of housing human beings could be built, with attention to the scientific, technical and industrial foundations that would make such a project possible. The work describes what those orbital cities would be like and what settling beyond Earth would entail.
The work, first published in Spanish in 1981, came in a translation by Carlos M. Sánchez Rodrigo; the original The High Frontier: Human Colonies in Space was published in 1977.
For readers interested in space exploration, popular science and projects for human settlements beyond Earth.
