«Chapeuzinho e o Leão Faminto» is the children's story by Alex T. Smith, published by Editora Brinque-Book in paperback (32 pages, in Portuguese).
Aunt Rosa wakes up covered in spots, and Little Red Riding Hood goes with her basket to bring her remedies. On the way, a hungry lion hatches a plan: he arrives first, hides the aunt, and disguises himself. The girl must foil the trick in this fun re-encounter with the classic tale, which celebrates dialogue and friendship.
Translation into Portuguese by Gilda de Aquino. Original work published in 2015; this Brinque-Book edition, the first in Brazil, came out in 2019.
Ideal for early readers and for reading aloud with the family, especially with humorous versions of classic tales.
