«Cendra per Martina» is the novel by Manuel de Pedrolo, published by Proa in paperback (406 pages, in Catalan).
A love novel told from the point of view of its three protagonists, a man and two women: Adrià, Júlia and Martina. The relationship they share seems perfect, but the brutality of the outside world and each one's vital isolation gradually undo it. A raw and dramatic account of the fragility of love.
Originally published in 1965, this Proa edition is from 1980 and belongs to the A Tot Vent collection (no. 113).
