«Cecily Parsley's Nursery Rhymes» is Beatrix Potter's collection of nursery rhymes, published by Warne in hardback (40 pages, in English).
The book brings together a small collection of traditional English nursery rhymes, accompanied by Beatrix Potter's watercolours. The edition reproduces the author's original illustrations, with rabbits and other animals in rural scenes, in the same visual style as her Peter Rabbit tales.
The work was originally published in 1922; this authorised 2002 edition reproduces the original watercolours.
Recommended for preschool children and early readers, with short rhymes and classic illustrations to introduce reading in English.

Helen Beatrix Heelis, usually known as Beatrix Potter, was an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist. She is best known for her children's books featuring animals, such as The Tale of Peter Rabbit, which was her first commercially published work in 1902. Her books, including The Tale of Jemima Puddle Duck and The Tale of Tom Kitten, have sold more than 250 million copies. An entrepreneur, Potter was a pioneer of character merchandising. In 1903, Peter Rabbit was the first fictional character to be made into a patented stuffed toy, making him the oldest licensed character.
