«Cazadores en la nieve» is a collection of twelve short stories by Tobias Wolff, published by Alfaguara in paperback (256 pages, in Spanish).
Stories about characters driven by ambitions stronger than love or loyalty: urban hunters, a prudish young man with an improbable travelling companion, a couple celebrating their golden wedding anniversary on a cruise, and a mother worried about a son who narrates tragedies. Wolff explores the mismatch between everyday life and the most intimate longings.
Translation by Maribel de Juan. Part of the Alfaguara Literaturas collection. Paperback edition with flaps, published on 29 April 2005.
For readers of literary fiction and short stories, with an interest in contemporary American narrative.
