«Car Fever: The Car Bore's Essential Companion» is James May's humorous book about cars, in paperback (292 pages, in English).
James May brings together here his reflections on the car and modern life: the passion for cars, political correctness, rules and regulations, petrol stations, personalised number plates and his loud shirts. With nods to Jeremy Clarkson, he offers an ironic look at the absurdities of the driver's daily life.
Non-fiction work published by Hodder & Stoughton in 2010; the first edition, from 2009, bore the title «Car Fever: Dispatches from Behind the Wheel».
For fans of James May and Top Gear, and for anyone looking for British humour about the motoring world.
