«Capri, t'estimem» is the biography of Capri by David Escamilla, Emili Rosales and Salvador Escamilla (Columna, paperback, 119 pp., in Catalan).
The book reviews Capri's career as an actor and comedian, from his famous monologues to the emotion of his speech upon receiving the Medalla d'Or de la Ciutat de Barcelona. It also addresses his relationship with the public, who memorized passages from his performances, and the sentimental side he hid behind the humour.
Subtitled «L'home, l'artista, el geni», it was coordinated by Salvador Escamilla and published in 1998.
For fans of Capri and Catalan popular culture, as well as for those who want to learn about a reference point of humour and the Barcelona scene.
