Candide ou l'Optimiste es una novela filosófica del escritor francés Voltaire, publicada en 1759. La obra sigue las aventuras de un joven llamado Cándido, quien, influenciado por su tutor Pangloss, cree fervientemente en la filosofía del optimismo, que sostiene que "todo está dispuesto de la mejor manera posible".
