«Cambio príncipe por lobo feroz» is a humour book by Raquel Sánchez Silva, published by Punto de Lectura in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
The work ironically champions the role of the fairy-tale stepmother: instead of aspiring to be the princess, it proposes embracing the character's freer, more transgressive side. Against the conventional happy ending, it suggests running off with the wolf, forgetting the glass slippers and enjoying oneself while the princesses sleep.
The book belongs to the Libros Acuáticos collection, edited by Punto de Lectura and Cuatro, and its back cover describes it as 100% waterproof. It was published on 13 May 2009.
Reading for those who enjoy humorous reinterpretations of classic fairy tales and an unconventional female perspective.
