«Caillou aprende a ser mayor» is a children's story by Jeanne Verhoye-Millet, published by Editorial Everest in hardback (36 pages, in Spanish).
Caillou, a four-year-old boy, finds a small lifeless bird and his father explains that all living beings are part of a natural cycle. The news unsettles him: if growing up means getting closer to the end, growing becomes a source of fear. The story shows how the character learns to overcome that fear.
It belongs to the Mis cuentos de Caillou collection, based on the television series. Includes illustrations by CINAR Animation and translation by Alberto Jiménez Rioja.
Recommended for children aged 3 to 7, especially for fans of the character.
