«Breve historia de Cervantes» is the historical biography by José Miguel Cabañas Agrela, published by Nowtilus in paperback (336 pages, in Spanish).
A popular biography that reviews the career of Miguel de Cervantes: his youth, his participation at Lepanto, his exile and captivity in Algiers, his clashes with Lope de Vega and his theatrical vocation. It also covers the lesser-known episodes of his life —the accusations against his family, his flight to Seville, his nonconformist personality— and presents him as the inventor of the modern novel and author of «El Quijote».
It belongs to the «Breve Historia» collection from Nowtilus and is the first edition, published in 2016.
Aimed at a general audience interested in the history of Spain, Golden Age literature and the figure of Cervantes.
