«Brennender Midi» is the crime novel by Cay Rademacher, published by DuMont Buchverlag GmbH in paperback (302 pages, in German).
In autumn, Captain Roger Blanc investigates the crash of a small plane in an olive grove in Lançon: the contradictory witness accounts and the pilot's military profile suggest a crime linked to a Marseille cartel. His divorce and his relationship with judge Aveline Vialaron-Allègre complicate his personal life, and a second body appears.
Third instalment of the crime series featuring Captain Roger Blanc, set in Provence.
For those who enjoy rural crime series and slow-burning mystery, with Provence as the setting and cosy mystery-style reading.
