«Blackbox: Unerwartete Systemfehler» is a short story collection by Benjamin v. Stuckrad-Barre, published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch in paperback (348 pages, in German).
Starting from an aeroplane's black box, which records conversations and technical data before an accident, the author brings together eight stories about catastrophes or failures, whether technical, climatic or human. Each text reads like the analysis of a protocol in search of those responsible and the causes of the disaster.
It belongs to the KiWi series, number 600, and this edition is the third, published in 2000.
For readers of contemporary German fiction and narrative who appreciate short stories.
