«Bésame antes de morir» is the suspense novel by Ira Levin, published by Emecé in paperback (in Spanish).
A young man with excessive ambition is willing to cross any line to achieve his goals. The novel maintains a growing suspense tone, with twists that complicate his plans and raise the tension; each decision by the protagonist brings the story closer to an outcome where nothing seems certain.
The English original, «A Kiss Before Dying», was published in 1953; this Spanish edition appeared in 1993. The work won the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best First Novel in 1954.
Recommended for fans of suspense, crime fiction, and mystery classics who value plots with sustained tension.
