«Basilisa, a princesa sapiño» is the children's story by Marilar Aleixandre, published by Editorial Galaxia in paperback (56 pages, in Galician).
The story suggests that the youngest son doesn't always get the best share and that not all toads are what they seem. If someone finds a skin shed by a little toad, they should think twice before throwing it into the fire, unless they want to wear out three pairs of iron shoes. Basilisa stars in a tale about appearances and surprises.
It is part of the Árbore collection for ages 10 and up and was published in 2002.
Recommended for children and young readers, especially those looking for classic tales with princesses and toads.
