«Barbillas y cosquillas» is the children's picture book by Laurence Afano, published by Editorial Luis Vives (Edelvives) as a hardback board book (22 pages).
Two children start a game of touching chins and tickling. Gradually, imaginary characters born from childhood fears join in the fun. The scene builds in rhythm and humour until the game comes to an end and everyone settles down to sleep peacefully.
Volume 10 of the Luciérnaga collection. Laurence Afano writes the text and illustrations; the original title is «Je te tiens, tu me tiens» and the translation is by Celia Turrión.
Suitable for readers aged 3 to 6; its playful tone and calm ending make it appropriate for reading aloud at bedtime.
