«Bajarse al moro» is the play by José Luis Alonso de Santos, published by ANAYA INFANTIL Y JUVENIL in paperback (176 pages, in Spanish).
An emblematic comedy of the eighties, set in Madrid's movida scene, it portrays a group of young people seeking their place between marginality and integration, in a context marked by drugs and delinquency. With humour and irony, it shows the conflict through the colloquial speech and street slang of the era.
Originally written in 1985, it belongs to Anaya's Clásicos Hispánicos collection, with an annotated edition by José Luis Sánchez Ferrer and illustrations by Javier Lacasta Llácer.
Recommended for readers aged 14 and over, especially suitable for students of contemporary Spanish literature and theatre.
