«Baby Blues N.º 14 A Maternidade não é para Mariquinhas» is the humour comic by Jerry Scott and Rick Kirkman published by Bizâncio (132 pages, in Portuguese).
Darryl and Wanda MacPherson deal with raising their young children in this instalment of the Baby Blues comic strip. Between chicken nuggets in the dryer, bribes with lollies, arguments over the biggest biscuit and syrup on the video, the volume portrays with humour the small daily battles of parenthood.
It is the fourteenth volume in the Baby Blues Scrapbooks series. The original English title, Motherhood Is Not for Wimps, was published in 2001.
Suitable for parents, and for readers who enjoy slice-of-life humour and the family comic strip.
Jerry Scott is an American cartoonist and writer. He is known for co-creating the comic strips Baby Blues and Zits. He is one of only four cartoonists to have multiple strips appearing in over 1,000 newspapers worldwide.
