«Ayer y hoy. Imágenes de una vida» is a photography book by Bernardo Riego Amézaga, published by Lunwerg Editores in hardback (272 pages, in Spanish).
The volume's pages juxtapose two visual records of the same public place: an old black-and-white image and a current one in colour. Squares, façades and streets appear portrayed before and after, and the comparison shows how the urban landscape and its inhabitants have changed. It is an invitation to observe the transformation of the city.
The volume, measuring 26 x 28 cm, was published on 26 November 2013 and combines colour and black-and-white photographs.
Recommended for readers interested in photography, urban history and architecture.
