«Astérix, la rosa y la espada» is the comic album by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, published by Edicions Junior in hardback (48 pages, in Catalan).
A teacher arrives at the Gaulish village and revolutionises Astérix, Obélix and all their neighbours. The story asks whether the newcomer will manage to break the peace that even the Romans have failed to shatter, with the humour and parody of contemporary customs typical of the Astérix albums.
This album is number 29 in the Astérix series, created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo; the Catalan edition was published in 1991.

René Goscinny was a French comic editor and writer, who created the Asterix comic book series with illustrator Albert Uderzo. Born in France to a Jewish family from Poland, he spent his childhood in Argentina where he attended French schools and later lived in the United States for a short period of time. There he met Belgian cartoonist Morris. After his return to France, they collaborated for more than 20 years on the comic series Lucky Luke.
