«Asterix i Cleopatra» is the adventure comic by Goscinny and Uderzo, published by Grijalbo-Dargaud in Catalan.
Julius Caesar mocks Cleopatra: the Romans erect magnificent temples, while the Egyptians have built nothing since the pyramids. Humiliated, the queen commissions her architect Numerobis to build a palace in three months. The architect asks for help in the Gaulish village, and Asterix, Obelix and Panoramix travel to Egypt to fulfil the task.
The comic is part of the Asterix series, created by Goscinny and Uderzo. It was originally published in 1965 as «Astérix et Cléopâtre».
A read for all ages that combines humour and adventure, aimed at those who enjoy the classics of comics.

René Goscinny was a French comic editor and writer, who created the Asterix comic book series with illustrator Albert Uderzo. Born in France to a Jewish family from Poland, he spent his childhood in Argentina where he attended French schools and later lived in the United States for a short period of time. There he met Belgian cartoonist Morris. After his return to France, they collaborated for more than 20 years on the comic series Lucky Luke.
