«Arcángeles» is the novel by Lourdes Ortiz, published by Plaza & Janés in paperback (206 pages, in Spanish).
The action takes place in Barcelona and the novel is conceived as a meditation on the passage of time and memory. With irony and rawness, Lourdes Ortiz observes those who were protagonists of their era two decades earlier, making the reunion with the past the axis of the narrative.
This is the first edition of «Arcángeles», part of the Plaza & Janés/literaria collection.
Lourdes Ortiz is a Spanish writer of novels, plays, poems and essays. She has worked for several different newspapers and magazines, including El País, El Mundo, and Diario 16, mainly focusing on social and political topics.
