«Anochecer» is the short story collection by writer James Salter, published by El Aleph Editores in paperback (176 pages, in Spanish).
The stories in «Anochecer» by James Salter explore the fragility of relationships, the traps of memory, and the betrayals of desire. With clear, direct prose, Salter builds nocturnal atmospheres and contained emotions in few pages, often widening the perspective at the end of each story.
The book was published in 2008 in the Quinteto Bolsillo collection (no. 288). The original English work, «Dusk and Other Stories», was published in 1988.
For readers of contemporary fiction and short stories who value refined writing and suggestive atmospheres.
