«Amor en el río de la vida» is the contemporary fiction novel by Pedro Sevylla de Juana, published by Caligrama in paperback (350 pages, in Spanish).
The novel plays with the boundary between reality and fiction: a character dead in another book is saved and reappears here. In Madrid, Pedro Sevylla de Juana and his beloved, a re-encountered actress, live together while she reads and judges what is written; the plot explores the origin, goals, doubts and successes of people.
It is the thirtieth book by Pedro Sevylla de Juana, corresponding academic of the Academy of Letters of the State of Espírito Santo in Brazil and International Vargas Llosa Prize for fiction.
For readers of contemporary narrative who appreciate stories where writing and life intertwine.
