In 'Friends, Lovers, Chocolate', Isabel Dalhousie encounters a man who, after a heart transplant, experiences foreign memories, leading her to reflect on the connection between the heart and the soul. Meanwhile, her niece Cat asks her to replace her in her delicatessen during a vacation in Italy, where she meets a charming man who arouses her suspicions. Isabel faces two mysteries of the heart, balancing her philosophical reflections with the challenges of friendship and temptation.
