«All Afloat on Noah's Boat!» is a children's picture book by Tony Mitton, with illustrations by Guy Parker-Rees, published by Orchard Books.
On Noah's ark, the animals get bored and become grumpy; to cheer them up, Noah organises a cabaret of creatures with surprising performances. Tony Mitton's rhyming text moves along with a cheerful rhythm, and Guy Parker-Rees's illustrations show a colourful ark and a parade of expressive animals, leading to an unexpected ending.
The work was originally published in 2007; this Orchard Books edition dates from 2009. The book has 32 pages and is in English.
Intended for early readers and for reading aloud, with rhymes and a very marked rhythm.
Anthony Robert Mitton was an English writer. Originally a primary school teacher, he then became a children's poetry writer.
