Aire de Mar en Gádor

Synopsis of Aire de Mar en Gádor

«Aire de Mar en Gádor» is the novel by Pedro Sorela, published by Alfaguara in paperback (240 pages, in Spanish).

The novel narrates a utopia through seven characters who settle in the Gádor mansion, a refuge that functions as voluntary exile. In that coexistence, nostalgia, humour, love and surprise combine, and each one tries to find themselves in others and in the mirrors of their own life; Mar, one of those characters, remains in the memory.

It was Pedro Sorela's (1951-2018) first narrative work and belongs to Alfaguara's Hispánica collection.

For readers of contemporary fiction in Spanish interested in character-driven novels, with a literary and reflective tone.
