Aime comme Mathilde

Synopsis of Aime comme Mathilde

«Aime comme Mathilde» is the children's novel by Sophie Chérer published on 30 January 2007 by L'Ecole Des Loisirs in hardback, in French.

Mathilde wakes up in the middle of the night crying her heart out, something unprecedented for her: a boy as handsome as he is kind has broken her heart. Her father understands that jokes won't be enough and resorts to two foolproof tricks: talking about love and driving aimlessly, until the tears dry up.

Reading intended for a children's and young adult audience, especially for those facing their first romantic disappointments and seeking a tender and comforting story.
