«¡Abajo los muros!» is the illustrated children's album by Gemma Armengol and Òscar Julve, published by Algar in paperback (24 pages, in Spanish).
A group of African acrobatic termites appears in a garden and sows unease among its neighbours, who react by building walls around it. The story asks whether those termites are really as dangerous as rumoured and shows what happens when fear of the unknown leads to raising barriers.
It is number 16 in the collection «Los animales del jardín», in the handwritten-letter variant. Recommended reading age: 4 to 7 years.
Aimed at early readers aged 4 to 7, at home or in the classroom, as a starting point for talking about prejudice and coexistence.
