«A Sbagliare Le Storie» is the picture book by Gianni Rodari, published by EL in paperback (18 pages, in Italian).
A grandfather tells his granddaughter the story of Little Red Riding Hood, but gets it wrong on purpose: he changes the girl's colours and muddles the tale. The little girl corrects him at every mistake, and the narration becomes a shared game of humour. A playful re-reading of the traditional tale that celebrates imagination and the pleasure of storytelling.
With illustrations by Alessandro Sanna. Belongs to the Albumini collection from EL. 2009 edition.
A book for early readers and for adults who enjoy telling stories: its game of mistakes invites reading aloud.

Giovanni Francesco "Gianni" Rodari was an Italian writer and journalist, most famous for his works of children's literature, notably Il romanzo di Cipollino. For his lasting contribution as a children's author, he received the biennial Hans Christian Andersen Medal in 1970. He is considered Italy's most important 20th-century children's author, and his books have been translated into many languages, though few have been published in English.
