«A plena luz» is the contemporary fiction novel by J.R. Moehringer, published by Duomo Ediciones in paperback (480 pages, in Spanish).
The novel starts from the real figure of Willie Sutton, the robber known as the Robin Hood of Brooklyn, and places him at Christmas 1969 in New York. In a single day, Sutton reviews his life of escapes, prisons, loves and books; astronauts, policemen, thieves, magnates and gardeners parade by, mixing history and fiction, with a robber who never fired a bullet.
The work is published within the Nefelibata collection of Duomo Ediciones. The original text, published in English as Sutton in 2012, appears in this edition with a translation by Juan José Estrella González.
Aimed at readers of historical fiction and true crime, with an interest in real underworld figures and in 1960s New York.
