«A fraga (des)animada» is a children's and young adult theatre play by Xesús Santos Suárez, published by Ir Indo Edicións in paperback (95 pages, in Galician).
In a forest, native and foreign trees coexist; the oak, the pine and the chestnut argue with the eucalyptus, which always wants more water. The arrival of the cork oak from Portugal revives the protests, but the worst threat will be the human being. It is a plea for the defence of native flora against fires and invasive species.
It was first published in 1993 and belongs to the Nabarquela collection, of which it is number 6.
Recommended for readers aged 8 to 12 and designed to be read or performed in the classroom.
