«Toyebi Te» is the album by Lokua Kanza, released in 2002 by Emarcy on CD.
It brings together sixteen short songs that start from African music and move between pop and folk. Almost the entire repertoire is written, composed and produced by Lokua Kanza, with titles in French and African languages. Among its tracks, «Toyebi te», «Le bonheur» and «Good bye» stand out.
The CD digipak edition credits Lokua Kanza as the author of almost the entire repertoire; «Mboka» is composed with Sylvain Luc and «Je n'ai pas choisi» has lyrics by Passi.
A record for those seeking serene and melodic African music.
