«Thunder Chord» is the album by Coyote Oldman, released in 1990 by Hearts of Space on CD.
Coyote Oldman, the duo formed by Michael Graham Allen and Barry Stamp, hand-builds replicas of Native American flutes and records them with spatial processing techniques to create broad, natural, and mysterious sound textures. Thunder Chord dispenses with synthesizers and evokes the vastness of the great plains.
The single-disc CD carries catalogue number HS 11022-2 and falls within instrumental and ambient music.
Recommended for listeners of ambient, new age, and instrumental music, with an interest in Native American flutes and immersive soundscapes.
