«Requiem for Orchestra / Lebanon in Flames / The Contemplation of Christ» is the album by composer Bechara El-Khoury, released in 2006 by Naxos on CD.
The CD brings together three orchestral works by Bechara El-Khoury, including the 'Requiem for Orchestra' and the symphonic poem 'Lebanon in Flames'. The Orchestre Colonne, conducted by Pierre Dervaux, lends the recording an expressive tension that underscores the funereal character of the requiem and the evocative power of the symphonic pieces.
