«Pacific Suite» is the album by Dan Gibson's Solitudes with music by Hennie Bekker, released in 1992 by Solitudes on CD.
The album combines synthesizers with field recordings of the Pacific coast of North America and its redwood forests. The pieces, with a slow pace, integrate waves, rivers and wildlife; in the second half, natural sounds take the foreground. It includes «Pacific Morning», «Humpback Whales» and «Return to the Sea».
The album belongs to the «Exploring Nature With Music» series by Dan Gibson's Solitudes, with natural sounds digitally recorded by Dan Gibson and music composed by Hennie Bekker.
Suitable for new age and ambient music listeners who appreciate natural soundscapes, for both relaxation and meditation.
