«Oxímoron» is the album by Mento, released in 2014 by Arcadia Music, on CD.
The album is structured in two parts presented as EPs, «Asfixia» and «Respira», with one expansive side and another more intimate and reflective. Its sound moves between rock, pop and post-rock atmospheres, with standout guitar work. Tracks include «Sácame de aquí», «Alguien como tú» and «Inocente».
It is Mento's third album and the first the band recorded outside the Canary Islands; Pablo Cebrián produced it. The CD carries catalogue reference ARC003.
Aimed at fans of Spanish-language rock who appreciate contrasts between intensity and more subdued passages.
