«Greetings from Surinam Vol. 2» is the traditional suripop-java music album by Mento, released by the Mis label on CD.
The album compiles traditional music from the Indonesian-Surinamese community performed by Mento, with a suripop-java repertoire combining popular rhythms from Java and Surinam. Tracks include «Atiku Wis Krasa», «Lelakone Wong Jawa Suriname» and «Kroncong Kemayoran»; the cover presents it as a musical mix of that population.
The cover indicates it is part of World Music Collection (vol. 13) and shows it as Part 2; the CD has a single disc.
Recommended for fans of folk and world music, especially the Javanese tradition of Surinam.
