«Our Wild Mercury Years» is the indie pop debut album by Kicker, released in 2006 on Darla Records, on CD.
The album speaks of lost and found loves, of broken and mended hearts, and champions honesty over cynicism. Its urban, melancholic indie pop includes Kicker's version of the northern soul classic «Since You Left».
Recorded in north London between 2002 and 2004, the album was released as a single CD. Kicker comprises members of Velocette, Hood and Comet Gain.
For fans of indie pop and mid-2000s pop rock who appreciate independent label productions and melodies with feeling.
