«My Head Is An Animal» is the debut album by Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men, released in 2012 by Universal Records on CD.
«My Head Is An Animal» fuses the rock band format with a folk and indie approach: easy-to-sing melodies, expansive choruses and songs like «Dirty Paws», «Little Talks» and «Mountain Sound».
The CD contains twelve tracks and the lyrics are in English. Of Monsters and Men won the 2010 Icelandic band competition Músiktilraunir before releasing «My Head Is An Animal».
«My Head Is An Animal» is for listeners of indie folk and alternative rock who appreciate Mumford & Sons, Noah & The Whale or Arcade Fire.
