«Oboe Concertos» is the album by Heinz Holliger and the Camerata Bern featuring concertos by Graun, Krebs and Telemann, released in 1991 by Archiv Produktion on CD.
The recording brings together oboe concertos by Telemann, Graun and Krebs, works of the German Baroque in which the soloist dialogues with the chamber orchestra. Heinz Holliger performs the oboe part with the Camerata Bern; the result shows the balance between the solo instrument and the ensemble, with passages of agile writing and fragments of a melodic character.
Remastered stereo edition, released in Germany with catalogue number 431 120-2 in the Archiv Produktion Galleria series.
For fans of classical music and the oboe as a solo instrument, particularly for followers of Heinz Holliger.
