«Mr. Tambourine Man» is the debut album by The Byrds, in its 1996 CD reissue released by Sony Music.
The Byrds' debut album is a blend of folk rock and pop rock, with bright guitars and a sound that helped establish the genre. It includes Dylan covers such as «Mr. Tambourine Man» and «Chimes of Freedom», alongside original songs like «I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better». The reissue adds extra material and alternate versions.
This remastered edition brings together 18 tracks: the 12 from the original album and six bonus tracks, with track 17 in mono and the rest in stereo.
