«Lukas Passion» is the classical music album by Johann Sebastian Bach with the Passion according to Saint Luke, released in 2006 by Brilliant Classics, on CD.
Baroque oratorio following the Gospel of Saint Luke, for four soloists, choir, orchestra and continuo. It narrates the passion and death of Christ with recitatives, arias and chorales, in a more sober style than that of Bach's great passions.
Recording on 2 CDs with Charlotte Lehmann, Elisabeth Künstler, Georg Jelden and Ulrich Schaible, the Balinger Kantorei and the Kammerorchester des Collegium Musicum Tübingen, conducted by Gerhard Rehm.
