«Keep Your Eyes Ahead» is the album by The Helio Sequence, released in 2008 on Sub Pop, on CD.
The album combines indie rock and pop with accessible melodies, acoustic guitars and some electronic textures; the whole sounds melodic and restrained, with nostalgic and introspective shades. Tracks like «Lately», «Can't Say No» and «You Can Come To Me» show that range of registers, between soft ballads and more rhythmic cuts.
One-CD disc with English lyrics and an approximate running time of 37 minutes.
Recommended for fans of indie rock and alternative pop, especially for those who value a melodic sound and introspective lyrics.
