«Folk & Fantasy» is the Icelandic folk music album by Islandica, released on CD.
The album collects Icelandic folk songs with an atmospheric, new age-flavoured sound: sober arrangements, ethereal voices and instrumentation close to Nordic folk. The pieces are sung in Icelandic.
The cover includes the subtitle 'Rammíslensk' and a composition with the Icelandic flag and four photographs of Icelandic landscapes.
This record is suitable for fans of Icelandic folk, world music and intimate sound atmospheres with faint voices.
