«Beyond Words» is Mark Egan's contemporary jazz album, released by Rhino / Wea on CD in 1991.
Contemporary jazz with Mark Egan's fretless bass at the forefront, in a repertoire that moves between serene textures, electric passages and a gentle samba feel. The ten tracks include «Campfire Stories», «Beyond Words» and «The Bamboo Forest», with guitars, saxophone and percussion.
Produced by Mark Egan, the CD brings together ten tracks with Steve Khan on guitar, Bill Evans on saxophone and Danny Gottlieb on drums.
For contemporary jazz listeners and admirers of the fretless bass sound.
