«Brother Sister» is the album by The Brand New Heavies, released in 2000 by Warner Music Japan, on CD.
The album showcases The Brand New Heavies' acid jazz, blending funk, soul and jazz, with N'Dea Davenport's voice as the lead. Tracks like «Dream On Dreamer» and «Back to Love» represent their most danceable side, the one that made the group a reference for the dance and funk sound of the nineties.
Third studio album by The Brand New Heavies, originally released in 1994; the 2000 Japanese edition (AMCE-3203) includes a booklet with lyrics, commentary and Japanese translation.
For fans of British acid jazz from the nineties and funk and soul with a danceable spirit.
