«Ameno» is the CD single by the French group Era, released by Mercury in 1996.
The track blends new age with electronics and a Gregorian-inspired choir, creating a solemn and mystical atmosphere. The cover, featuring a sword on an ancient parchment, reinforces that medieval setting. This edition brings together the original version of «Ameno» with a remix.
Classifications associated with the release include electronic, pop, modern classical and downtempo; the catalogue reference is 578 884-2.
For listeners of new age, ambient and electronic pop from the nineties, as well as for followers of the Era project.
