«A Ma Zone» is the album by Zap Mama released on CD in 1999.
The album blends African rhythms with hip hop, jazz, soul and electronic music, with Marie Daulne's voice as the common thread. The lyrics address the dehumanising effects of modern communication, while songs like 'Beautiful People', 'Carnival' and 'Tell Me' combine danceable moments and reflective passages.
«A Ma Zone» is the fourth album by Zap Mama. The record contains twelve tracks and the back cover shows the catalogue code 7243-8-48412-2-5.
Aimed at listeners of world music, hip hop and soul, and at those seeking a crossover between African tradition and contemporary sounds.
