Un chien andalou

Synopsis of Un chien andalou

A man cuts a woman's eye with a razor. Eight years later, a cyclist drags a piano with dead donkeys. A man is imprisoned by his double. Un chien andalou mistreats the bodies and sensitivity of the viewer without giving him time to understand. Characters and objects disappear or arise from nothing at a sustained pace, disrupting our conception of space and time. Considered a fundamental work, Luis Buñuel's first film, co-directed by Salvador Dalí, reveals scenes that have become famous. This collector's edition includes interviews and additional material that offers a complete view of Buñuel and Dalí's short film.
